It would be really awful if they do that. Most people are not necessarily planing to further along the lines of their NOCs when they get to Canada. Some people have other ideas and NOC-specific draws will kill many dreams.
I don't think they will be going to do NOC specific draws this year. Such changes might come next year.

I have same line of thoughts as well. It could even be by 2023 when they have to plan for the next 3 years of EE (target/structure and all)
As of now, I don't feel Canada needs anyone other than the people in the health care industry.
So matching the EE pool to the market needs of Canada will be disastrous for all of us...;P
Dont think so..major healthcare nocs are regulated and are never picked by the PNPs even except nurses by oinp.
This years’s target is still a long way from being met. The problem is that people are referring to the targets as the number of ITAs issued and this is erroneous. The yearly target is the number of landed immigrants that are expected to successfully immigrate to Canada
Even if the target for this year is somehow magically achieved, any ITAs sent from August will be targeted towards 2022 quota because we don’t expect any of those outlanders to land in Canada this year
That is just so true, how do people believe that number of ITAs given is equal to the immigration target figure is beyond me.
Also numbers game doesn’t count anymore cuz canada needs more immigrants at this point of time after failing to land immigrants last year by a huge number

Changes are really far my friend, there has been no news regarding this,we don’t know if the proposal to streamline EE has been passed in the parliament let alone being implemented.
COVID-19 no longer top issue facing Canadians ahead of possible election: poll
As rumblings of a possible federal election continue across the country, a new poll has found that, for the first time since the start of
COVID-19, the pandemic is no longer the top issue on most Canadians’ minds.
According to the poll, the current top-of-mind issues Canadians are now thinking about the most are healthcare, affordability and cost of living, climate change and the economy — largely remaining the same from two years ago.

Hopium? Finally we can say Covid-19 and FSW aren't the same?

We cannot really say that. We all know that Covid is here to stay for along time and Canada is really doing a great job with it. They will also monitor other countries and based on the infections around the world they will adjust the travel restrictions.
The next thing that will happen now in Canada, we will see a big improvement on the job market with many of the businesses taken out by the restrictions that will re-open. Tourism sector will slowly start bouncing back in some degree and hospitality sector among others is well. Definitely it should help FSW.

Yeah was just kidding but jokes apart..Canada is looking for an economic recovery which should mean a good sign for FSW resuming soon..Toursim will be back too in September

Yes, quite a lot
Mehn I hope this is true!
It looks like I was right if this info is legit

we can expect to see old application starting moving very quick in the next two months
I am just hopping that for any new ITAs this year the processing time will be normal soo 6-12 months max

That really makes me feel hopeful. It's nice to see a summary of the movements of applications.
