Would it still matter if you won't follow the exact envelope size? i think the size given by the CIO is just a guide for us but does not necessary to be exact as long as your documents will fit into the envelope. right mates?
does size matters? well :

maybe this is an exception doc, i agree with annjay, as long as it fits why not? maybe CIO will not be that so strict with the size of the envelope ;D what's impt is that ur docs are of good quality, not crampled, complete and clean when it arrives CIO.
@ Urbinajanice,
Goodluck on your medical ha!!! di bah you're being assisted by an agency, what about your PER email from CIO,naka cc ka ba or dun lang sila nag email sa agent mo then you were just informed by your agent?
:-*
hi carl,
may i ask what were the questions in IELTS that came out when you took the exam if you can still remember? did you use IDP or British Council? how long it took you to get the results?

Good Day! the question was not addressed to me but since the forum has helped me, I feel I should also help out!
Here are some of the topics I remembered from my Feb.12, 2011 Ielts exam.
Writing:
You bought a TV set and upon unpacking it at home, notice it was damaged. Write to the manager stating the problem, when you bought the item and what you want to be be done about it.
Some people think travelling abroad is good for young adults. Some think it's an unnecessary expense. Discuss.
Speaking:
What is your favorite educational tv show?
What does it show?
Who introduced you to it?
How do you watch it?
What are your thoughts about the educational situation in our country?
In what way can the educational system in our country be improved?
*I think I have to share this. I dont watch TV so I had a hard time picking an educational tv show and decided to put the series "House" and defended my choice ("I'm a nurse so I learn from the signs and symptoms of the featured diseases...."). I was a bit apprehensive while waiting for the results, I thought they would count that as not understanding the question, but I got an 8.5 in speaking so I guess it was fine.
I have a question: for those who received their PER, what's next? When shall I submit my NBI clearance coz I didn't include it in my documents? Do I have to wait for email? Thank u in advance...

yes, meron =)
just to be sure, it's a good idea to prepare yourself for ALL the types ng exams for the reading and practice. Relatively mas madali ang reading because all the answers are there, but it still needs practice. There are tons of free materials online, and it also helps sa speaking if you watch videos sa youtube on interviews so you have an idea how the speaking portion goes.
sa speaking, i recommend looking up all the common questions (name, what do you do, hometown, etc) and print them out on 1 page and carry them wherever you go so if you have extra time (on the jeep, lunchbreak, waiting for a friend to arrive) you can go over them and try to formulate answers. you may not get the same questions but you will be, in effect, training yourself to formulate answers, and if you get the same question, you now have a mental map of answers, the ideas will pop up faster during the actual interview. also, THINK in english when formulating your answers.dont try to fake an accent, they can spot that the second that happens, and we dont need to have one, as long as we get our point across, ok na. most importantly, relax and pray while waiting for your turn. it calms the mind and helps you think clearly.
good luck and God bless!
GOT IT!! Thanks.
Calling : ladyk, nursemich, westpoint and to all those who received MR already ;D ;D.....
in the Personal networth and liabilities.... did you declare your loans, creditcard balance?
In bank certificate???? did you declare only the settlement fund figures or more than that??? Just to know where to stand and some basis of comparison. many, many, many thanks
Hello to all.. We had our medicals already this morning at Nationwide. I dunno if it was fast but it took us two hours to go through the tests. Hubby and I paid 4000 each and 1800 for our daughter plus courier fee of 150. Since I declared that I used to have Hepa A, I was asked to have a Hepa test and was charged additional 1,100 for that. For my hubby who declared that he has tattoos, he was charged another 300 for another test.
Usual tests - physical, xray, blood tests for us and just physical exam lang for our baby. Doc just asked for my kid's immunization record plus medical certificate of her confinement.
There were very few people this morning. Perhaps it's because weekday. When you sched yours, bring extra cash just in case further tests may be required and yeah come on a weekday so you won't have to wait long
Now another waiting begins for us. Sana walang retake ng tests!
