Hi to all,
Today i got my letter of refusal said that, i award only 20 points for B.COM only,
But the question is that i have completed diploma in electrical (3 yrs) as well,so i thought 22 points for diploma with 16 yrs of my total study period.
they do not consider two different field of study it is fine.
But my question is that where is it mention? we are not a lawyer ,so we know every thing.
on government website mention only statement below.
You have a three-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship and at least 15 years of full-time or full-time equivalent study. 22 points
so as per website i claim 22 points my self.
So,can i go for appeal or not?
Please hepl me out on this

Its jus my view....earlier also I said that it would be counted as 20 pts nd nt 22. I would be very happy if visa officer had given u 22 pts, but thats hw thy wrk

very sory to hear abt this sad newz.
I wud like to qoute one thing, buddy, believe me, these are jst lame execuses they
are using to refuse applications, nothing else. they have to clear back log by any means.

Did your status change from "In Process" to "Decision Made" and in the explanation "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision" without medical request?

Sorry for received refusal letter. Please share your timeline. I saw your application date 30-12-2012 or 2011. Did you get mail/PER from CIO? If you got email from CIO why VO rejected your application? CIO already counted your points. Please reply to me.

Hi mate,
Very sorry to hear about your refusal. In my view you should be getting 22 points .I think it might be a mistake on your VO part but as I am no expert at this matter so I would advise you to either REPOST this question by mentioning about this matter in the subject, addressing it to
PMM, who is the master of these types of matters or personal message(PM) him.And if he confirms you ,then certainly you should write a letter to your VO .
All the best!

You are applied as electrician on based of your 3 year diploma. You have completed 13 year study in electrical stream. I think they are not consider your B.com because this is out of stream. So Your highest degree in electrical is diploma. +2 and diploma is continue education so they count 15 years study and reward 22 points. I don't know, how do they work. But this is sure they did not count your B.com degree otherwise you can get 22 points.
I think there is confusion regarding your B.Com.
How many years of B.com you have completed...?
I have the same case and my case in process. I have also completed CA Intermediate (but i m not considering the points for that).
Regards
Cool
