does your friend have an eca for his master's degree? in order to enter ee your friend needs both an eca and ielts, otherwise he can create a profile but it will not be included in the pool. you can read more about it here >>

yes he will be getting his eca as well. i thought u need ielts to even create ur EE profile?

I did not use any immigration lawyer and got my PPR a few days back. In my opinion, if you can spare some time out to carefully read the various requirements and documents needed, you can easily do it without wasting a lot of money. After all we tend to focus more on our individual cases than an immigration consultant/lawyer who is only in it for the money!

Hi!

I had a lawyer for my working visa and he screwed up big time! Made an error in my NOC and the LMIA was rejected!!!!

So I disavowed him and did my PR application myself, and got it.

As long as you can read and have all of the necessary qualifications and proofs, this forum will help you to get there without a lawyer.

It just takes time.

May I ask which country were you applying from? In the spreadsheet it says "Outside of Canada"
