Hi guys,

Can anyone help me understanding my gcms notes.

AOR: 22 June 2017
IP2: 14 August 2017

I received gcms notes couple of days ago, my assessment result states that
Eligibility ,security, crimanilty and medical passed, and the final result shows Approved.
What does that mean? And if it’s approved why have not they sent PPR request yet. What should I do?? Should I contact CIC?? Or should I mail them? Or should I wait??

How are PPR batches handled? I mean do they send it in groups and how often? I thought its case by case and whenyour application approves you get an email? Isnt it so?

Just a quick update:
I phoned CIC yesterday. The lady was very friendly but unfortunately did not really get any new info. She just said that my application is being processed at Ottawa, criminality is passed but eligibility and security is still being reviewed - which is what I expected being stuck at stage NA2. Also said everything looks fine, no issues or red flags. So from this feedback Im not expecting PPR anytime soon.

Oh well, at least I know the delay is not due to something "bad", its just the process thats very slow for some and I have to wait it out a bit longer.

I phoned +16139444000 and followed 1-1-1-7-0 promts to speak to an agent.
You need to know your UCI number and all the info in your application.

They start off by asking your UCI number and then ask a lot of random questions such as your physical address, contact number, country of birth, etc. These are just security questions to ensure that they are really speaking to the applicant, so it can be anything in your application.

I have the aor of 25th of June and have been on NA2 since July 18th, and decided to order GCMS to find out what they have checked so far

I actually ordered 2days ago as well. Looking forward to seeing what it says - at least it will be clear cut info for a change.

I ordered my notes 19 days ago, so 12 to go, I am very much looking forward to getting those

I had the same as you today. I'm AOR June 6.

I checked as I do every morning and it said updated, but I couldn't see any changes. 10 days ago I had to send a copy of my wife's Hukou (Chinese form of ID) and complete a Schedule 4 form which seems more applicable to background than eligibility to me. I have a suspicion that my background check had returned to in progress, but was had not been showing that. But it still says "Not Applicable" again, so maybe it was updated to in progress and then back to NA and both changes cancelled each other out, but still showed as "updated". I hope that's the case, because that'd mean PPR is close, hope I'm right. Maybe that's what happened to you?

Originally I was told Ottawa. But when I received the request for documents last week the documents came from Hong Kong. How about you?

Mine was initally at cio sydney then moved to singapore. Stuck on NA2 since july end.
