Have similar questions like many of you in this group. I was wondering about the below too:

AOR - 25 May 2017
Application status - We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility - We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of additional documents - The additional documents you provided are being reviewed
Interview - You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics - We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Wondering how long would this take more as I have now gotten impatient. Have waited patiently for 5 months. Could someone help me.

A friend of mine submitted the application in August and already for received the PPR.

How do you know the VO is New Delhi?

I havent honestly followed this, so would be grateful if you could share it. Do I ask for the GCMS notes?

I emailed CIC asking about the VO.. tbh does not really matter as the information they provide is not very useful.. all we can do is wait
from what I hear GCMS notes are not very informative as well But they might provide some more insight. it will take at least 35 days for you to get them.

when did you order your GCMS notes and through which of the coys? I ordered mine on the 18th of September and haven't received them till date.

It was around 7th Oct. So I'm waiting patiently

Ok, lucky you. Is your file still at CIO Sydney or has it been transferred to a Visa office? I want to know if the reason for the delay is from the visa office delaying the release of information. Thanks

It's with the local visa office London that is..

I really hope you get your ppr eventually after all these hurdles so that we can both celebrate together when we do !

Hey everyone,

Urgently need help.

I got request from cic to submit the RCMP fingerprint check police clearance.
Can somebody guide me how I can get that done from India as I am in India right now in Chandigarh. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

I did manage to receive response from CIC yesterday stating that my VO is New Delhi and for any further queries fill in the web form ( they have provided the link). However, they didn't update me on my current status .

Email from CIC:
Please note that your application is currently being processed at the visa office in New Delhi.
Please submit any inquiries via our web form and your inquiry will be redirected to this visa office.

Current Status : BGC - We are processing your background check since Aug 30th..
Visa Office : Ottawa

I finally saw some movement in my application after 65 days.. ADR has changed to " The additional documents you provided are being reviewed" Guess my consultants must have uploaded the renewed Residence Permit copies that I sent for my self and my son.. Happy that someone is atleast looking at my application.. BGC still remains at ..We are processing your ... since 30th August

One more April 8 got ppr today
They also wrote email on oct 24
You should also write to ndvo and Ottawa that you have crossed 7 months now and no update on your file
