Can anyone tell me is there any chance of updating the cic application status today or tommorow as it is weekend in canada?
I submitted my passport to sgvo on 8th august, still there is no approved status in my cic account
Hey... I got IP2 on 18th Aug. I emailed CPC Ottawa last Monday inquiring about the status and got a reply saying that it is approved and they will be sending the Ready for Visa email soon. So it seems that they work on approvals first and then send out PPR mails later in bulk. Try emailing them as well, maybe you will be at the same stage.

I had send email to check on my status to CIC Ottawa (cpc-ctd-ottawa@cic.gc.ca) on 12th Aug and still haven't received any reply. Further, i tried calling up +16139444000 twice. Both the times i couldn't reach the agent as they are experiencing more then expected calls. I am not sure how to get an update on my application. GCMS notes is the last resort but that too take almost 30-40 days.
My AOR is Mar 29th Outland. They asked me to submit RCMP on 20th May which i submitted on 21st June. Post that there is no reply

Hmm... That is highly unusual. Usually it takes them 48 hours to reply. I mean I have emailed them twice now and got a reply within two days. Did you follow the format that they require, with your application number, name, DoB, etc.? Also, be sure to check spam folders.

I don't know about that, but you can mention it in the body of the email. The important thing is the application number since the application is being processed as a whole.

Thanks Achan. I got an auto responder saying that "Due to a high volume of inquiries we are only able to respond to case-specific inquiries and the service standard is 20 working days"
