Hello everyone,
I have a doubt regarding the ip1 or ip2. I never bothered to figure out what these two were until i saw medicals passed. Even on that day, I don't know what was my background check status. A few days later I read about the ip1 or 2 status and found that our background status was Not applicable. Then again I kept checking till Thursday when it changed to Background check in progress.
So is this ip2 by any chance?
Also my second query, how do we come to know where is our Visa office for the application, like London or Sydney or Ottawa or New Delhi? Is it sent by mail or somewhere in cic application?

2. You can mail them to ask where your app is now. If you go a few pages back you will find the format.

I don't know but you can Google search specifying Canada visa forum and may find info regarding abudhabi.

I just sent an email to mailto:CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca enquiring about my visa iffice, i got an auto generated mail saying they'll take 20working days to reply

They replied the same thing to me but I got a reply in less than 48 hours.

Still in Ottawa, got GCMS notes yesterday and our application was approved on 13 July so just in a bizarre situation right now, hope to resolve it soon Enjoy the serenity, it is well deserved.

Oh ok, I received my COPR and stamped passport today, but my question is, in the COPR, city of destination is Toronto whereas I am planning for Vancouver, so wanted to ask if this would create a problem

I read in other threads that it would only matter for PNP and other work-related visas, not for FSW except for Quebec.

A quick question, this is regarding sending documents for PPR.
My wife has 2 passports (one was expired and so we got a new renewed on), should we send in both the passports ? or just the new one ?

Had a similar problem as you. My husband's passport expired while waiting for ITA and we just sent in his renewed one without issue when the ITA came in. Which did you send in after your ITA?

hello.. just wanted to ask your thoughts on my app status. the additional documents changed to "we do not need additional documents" however my background check remains "not applicable". so this wouldnt be considered as IP2 yet right?

I'd email now if I were in your shoes. You're processed in Sydney, right? Maybe they need a wake up call? Is there anything you think keeping your application on the table (extensive travel, multiple POF documents)?

No harm in doing that. I included my UCI and application number in the query email I sent. Also included my husband's details (dependent). Fingers crossed for you!
