Hi Guys,
Just a quick question for my peace of mind.
From what I have learnt so far from this thread, it seems most of us are getting close to that time when changes might start to happen.
If there happens to be a change in any of the status, will you receive a message in your CIC account? or is it a case of checking your account every time for changes.

Generally for medicals update or requesting documents and PPR, you receive an e-mail, but for IP1 and IP1 to NA changes etc. there is no such notification, so yes here one has to keep checking their account regularly for updates.
i received a email notification first for the letter to request for coc (cuz technically sg coc required official letter from cic). that was when i realized i passed my meds. bgc was at NA.
after aor, i managed to get the coc using my invitation lettter only and attached it to CSE and sent it over. guess it didn't get attached to my application. i did state that when i attached my coc in the replacement portion of the application. my bgc changes to ip1 about 3-4h after i got the email.
i received another email today that there's updates in my application (my coc has already been attached and submitted). logged in and couldn't see any difference from the prior day. not sure if it was change from NA to IP1 and there was a lag in the email notification? it still says they require additional documentation from me blah blah even thou i've already attached and submitted the coc (which is stated as provided, in line with rest of the documents).
not too sure what to expect now and really crossing my fingers and hoping everything goes well!
what are the chances of rejection after starting IP1?
I think they are holding back on further ITAs for some time until they clear some application backlog. Maybe that's why processing has sped up a little bit. Just my thought.

Hey, The e-mail you received did it mention that COC has been attached and submitted? if yes, then nothing to worry sometimes it takes time for changes to reflect. But if the e-mail was just about update in application only then, I think there was a lag in e-mail maybe, because as far as I know it takes 30-40 days for uploading of documents sent via CSE, so that is why you are still seeing the documents request.
Congrats though on your IP1.
About chances of rejection, there is no certainity at any stage, but after IP1 changes to NA your chances of rejection due to missing documents decrease to a great extent and are almost eliminated.

I wanted to say this in the ray of hope thread but people will eat me alive if I do so. They are already very frustrated over there because of no draws in a while.

hahahahhahaha, you made me laugh out loud literally. yeah indeed you are right. They are waiting for a draw today also, it will be huge disappointment if it doesn't happens! If only CIC was capable of maintaining some balance, when they were processing Syrian refugees they did it so fast because of the government pressure!
I just wish they speed up the process, they have our education verification (wes), Ielts, everything is on their desk and a click or call away to verify on us. Maximum could be done in 1-2 month's time keeping in mind number of applications and work force.
Now, the PNP applicants are being processed slowly, where as they should be the fastest, the state has done all sorts of verification on them before granting PNPs, still they are waiting for more than 5 months. These things make me feel there is no logic with CIC.
Hahaha.. @Baahubali very possible but also they're still having bugs in the system! Maybe they want to minimise mistakes. But really 3+ weeks, come on..
I have received my job letter from my employer but they didnt mention my duties that i handled. They mentioned only my roles and designations. Wat should i do?
