I have read that after your medicals are passed the background status immediately changes to 'next step is to conduct your background check...' but mine says 'Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.' Has this happened to anyone else?
Guys, what is the use of ordering GCMS notes in 3 months or so if the CSE is going to take 6+ weeks to reach. By the time we send our documents or explanations through CSE to address any concerns that we notice in GCMS, they would cancel or reject the application right. If the application is pending outside processing time, like 6 months, then it makes sense to order it to see where the application stands.
We talked about it later and concluded that after 60 days is good to order. I didnt know they issue GCMS close to delivery date, thats another pair of.. shoes.

But what is the use of ordering . It is not possible to take corrective action as cse takes 6 weeks to reach. By the time our cse reaches, our application would be cancelled. If cse was to reach sooner, then it makes sense to order as we could avert rejection. Now no use except loss of extra nights of sleep and the cost.

Im not planning to order GCMS because of CSE, I made peace with that, I cant do anything besides this Ive already done. Every CSE arrives after 6 weeks max.
I want to see other movements after/if I pass R10.
