Background status has been in sleeping mode since then. Till date ....nothing

Similar to mine! But most importantly, where is your application? You got the mail from Ottawa right? If yes then it doesnt mean anything because the longer NA, the shorter IP2 and a quicker PPR. If its Sydney then its a normal pace and you should generally wait a little bit longer for your PPR. Ottawa is faster.

How can i know my visa office? Only through emailing cic or gcms note?

My background check has weirdly gone into IP2, while it still saying they are checking my eligibility, doesnt seem normal? not that im complaining about being in IP2.

Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.

Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

This is normal.

The mail I just sent to the house was from the : CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca email addy. I guess it is same Ottawa

Nope. I will contact them next week in case they sent it and I didnt reveive it, thats my fear. Otherwise, I can wait. By Monday I will be 18 days on IP2.

They are giving birth to it! This is probably the longest time a person took to simply auto-generate an e-mail! LOL
