Any one here with AOR May still stuck in IP1 with no update on file? Now I am getting worried. AOR May 20, Medical Passed June 28/29. IP1 since forever. Paid all my fees upfront. I haven't been asked ziltch in terms of additional documents.
Freaked out enough to request update on visa office today.
says need additional documents but no messages below. i have sent a report for technical issue... no response. but the last email reply about VO said they don't need additional docs... hoping for the best and that everything is ok!

Any specific reason you're expecting a revised POF request at IP2?
It happens only in the rarest of cases - for example where they have reason to believe you only borrowed funds and might have spent a good chunk by now or due to a very steep forex rate drop.
Rejection probability is very low, but can't be ruled out especially if something is flagged in security check or in the POF. Screening criteria is usually visits to 'suspicious' countries, inter faith marriages especially very recent ones etc with some amount of randomness also.
It is a nice place but not so immigrant friendly at the moment except you already have permanent residency. The laws are now so stiff that it will take forever to become a resident/citizen. The discrimination got worse after BREXIT. My sister lives in Edmonton and had been on my case to immigrate for many years. I first came into England in 2007. She arrived in Canada in 2013 and is a full citizen today...
Ohhhh.. I thought you were a UK citizen. You are right about the way things are these days in UK, laws are tougher than ever. It will take you for ever to be a citizen.
Moving to Canada is a smart move . Hopefully we all be citizens 5 -7 years down the line.
Hey @Prats6, just wanted to know that when was the application status updated after PPR for you and what it states now?
was it when you received CoPR or in between the time period you had sent PP via VFS.
I submitted my application on 28th June ; today my profile got updated with UCI number and says medical passed . usually does it longer????? . I am surprised in my case .
That's wonderful !! In my case it took 40 days for medical passed !! Lucky you !! congratulations and wish you speedy PPR. btw What is your background status?
