Have you ever seen of these interviews by one of these Honorable Ministers? They make everything seem so normal. It used to infuriate me to see Marco Mendicino's interviews like nothing was wrong. He would be seen boasting about meeting immigration targets of 200 k or 300 k or whatever, and making it look like what a fine job he is doing whereas the real system is archaic and in need of a complete overhaul.
Completed 2 years on 14th Oct. Why are they are running more draws if old applications are not processed yet? Shouldn't they put entire IRCC machinery and firepower into processing back log applications.
Nothing. I called them last week and i was told by the agent that everything is passed for now including Security, Eligibility, Criminality & Medical. Waiting for Approval for now. I dunno if something else goin on. I applied for GCMS notes. Let's wait for that to see exactly at what stage my file is.
I just got an update in form of a medical exam request for my spouse and I.
I had two quick questions to ask and I would really appreciate someone answreing them.
1. How long would it take to get the approval from the date of medical submission?
2. Is possible to do the medical exam in your home country (India) since we both are currently not in canada and if it is recommended or not?

1. There are no specific timelines. It will depend on what other stages your application is at. If medical is the only thing remaining, then the turnaround will be fairly quick.
2. You can get medicals done in any country, irrespective of where you applied form, given that you get it from an IRCC-approved panel physician.
