Ok , i sent CVO enquiry regarding my application for permanent
residence in Canada as a Federal Skilled Worker , and i received this reply :

Dear Sir/Madam,

This refers to your recent enquiry regarding your application for permanent
residence in Canada as a Federal Skilled Worker.

On November 28, 2008, pursuant to section 87 of the Immigration and Refugee
Protection Act, the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism issued
instructions which affect applications submitted on or after February 27, 2008.
Since your application was received on or after this date, your application is
subject to these amendments. We are in the process of assessing applications against
the Ministerial Instructions to determine whether they are eligible for processing.

Due to the high volume of applications received on or after February 27, 2008, it
will take at least 36 months for your application to receive a determination . You will be contacted once a determination has been made or if additional documents are judged to be necessary. Given the above, we would ask that you refrain from making further enquiries on your application as we will not respond to them.

Not only from Cairo VO but also Nairobi VO also send to me the following message. so guys be cool specially pre june applicant need lot of determinations.

This application is waiting to be reviewed. Until your application is reviewed, we will not be able to provide any more information. Once the decision has been made, we will contact you to advise you of the decision and next steps in the processing of your application.

Please be assured that, as soon as the assessment has taken place, a letter will be sent directly to you advising of the decision and any other requirements. We request that you wait to be contacted by our office and no further action is required by you at this time.

We have received enough federal skilled worker applications since February 27, 2008 to reach our immigration levels for the next two years. Because they reflect Canada's current labour market needs, applications under the most recent set of ministerial instructions are processed on a priority basis. Therefore, few federal skilled worker applications received before February 27, 2008 will be processed this year or next.
You will be advised of next steps (including instructions for medical examination and outstanding documentation if any) once your file comes up for review. However, we are not able to give an exact indication as to when that will occur.

I hope you are right and it didn't reach 36 months as they said.

The strange thing is that I know people who sent their full documents before your friend and still didn't get the medical. I am talking about Cairo visa office.
