Landed at Toronto Pearson airport at 8 pm Sunday, 21 June (bd time Monday 6 am) by Turkish Air. Found both BD and Canada immigration & customs are very friendly. But I had to face serious interview at Istanbul airport by Turkish people. And The Turkish pilot (I should call him a tempo driver) made a scary and rough landing. It seemed that aircraft was out of control and skidding away. By the grace of Almighty, we finally survived the danger. We also had to face very rough weather like heavy thunderstorms and rains while crossing the Atlantic Ocean.
Overall it was a mix-up experience .

congrats... what is ur nationality???
Hi just a question for those who have landed and are about to land
I (main applicant) am planning to land alone without my family. My family will do their formal landing next year. Do I need to show the whole amount for Proof of Funding, or can I just show the amount of just one person? Also I was thinking of bringing the required minimum for 1 person in cash and the rest in CPF balance statement. Will they accept the CPF balance statement as proof of funding? I was wondering if its possible to use this instead, since I also used this as my Proof of funding during my application.

Hi Vannghia184, Yes, I went today to VN Embassy in SG. The officer say they are not providing such service here. Need to apply in Vietnam through the provincial Justice Dept.
I have sent a message to you. Hope you can able to read it.
Thank you.
Are you clear what should be done by now? If not, please call up the HCM department of justice to ask. From what I know national id, household booklet and yourself are all that are required. Unless you can't go back, this is quite a straightforward process.
