Well, the CIO blessed us by sending our applications to Embaba VO as they useually send application to the country of origin of the applicant, if the VO is congested they send it to another VO, like other Egyptians colleagues who applied after mid May 2014.

My understanding is that all applicants of the first half of May (or in other saying, whose PER was in August or early August) were diverted to Cairo Visa Office. It would be very interesting to know that someone else in the same situation actually got processed!!

I think that you are totally right, it is a matter of dates only without any relation to the applicants or your file
they are using the following concept with the people who were ready to apply
"First Come, Last go"
So Sabona, Embaba VO follows the FILO (not FIFO) principle when dealing with our applications ;D.

I think, but not sure... still trying to figure that part out "شهادة القيد العائلي المميكنة". Yes, it is good news for all of us I believe. This is a great indication that the Visa Office is operational.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 8, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on July 17, 2014.
3. We transferred your application to the Cairo office on August 14, 2014. The Cairo office may contact you.
