Hello, I would to like ask an advice you. My application was received November 2013 and my ecas status is still application received. I am waiting for PPR and having a flight to my home country by end of Dec for a one month vacation.. my medical will expire in January. I am currently in Canada. My worry is what if my PPR come when I am in my home country, would it give a problem to my application or can I send my passport to the nearest visa? Is there anyone with the same situation experienced?

There is no difference that you are going for the first time or second time. Luggage & baggage policy of Airline will remain same. Airline cannot ask you that r u going for the first time or second time. Normally it is 23 Kg X 2 as checked in baggage 10 Kg carry on baggage and 10 kg laptop bag or ladies bag etc. Your airline will give your details while booking tickets.
I hope this helps....

No you dont go with your whims and comfort - cic wont process visa from a different embassy other than where file was dealt unless specific reasons - approved prior
Medical expiry doesnt speed up ur visa - u must go with the inventory flow -
Dear, Its the same for all and I believe still you score 23 points, re check at below;

Dear forumites,
I would like to inform you that I landed yesterday at Toronto Pearson International Airport, on the eve of my birthday. The landing experience was quite smooth, with all officers friendly and helpful. In fact, the lady who signed my CoPR was so charming that I nearly asked to take her out for dinner later that evening. Whole process took about 1 hour of which 45 minutes was spent standing in the queue. A few basic questions were asked to confirm whether my marital status had changed, whether I have been charged with a serious crime subsequent to me receiving the CoPR papers from the VO, and whether I have any dependants. The process at customs was equally painless and quick. Promptly took a taxi to my accommodation. Temperatures were at zero, but Johannesburg and Cape Town do get equally cold in winter at times so it was nothing new.
To all still waiting - I got my fingers crossed for you and I hope you all make it.
Lastly, thank you once again to the forumites for the invaluable and free advice that I got throughout the duration of my application. From the initial preparation stages right through to the landing - I thank you!!!!!
Eminem,
Congrats and +1 to you !! Hope you have a great career in Canada.
If you have taken the contact details of the charming lady, do pass it on to me...
