Hi guys can some one show their parents bank account with the authorization for the purpose of proof of funds. Do the applicant need to be account holder or can his father be the account holder?
Is it possible for father to show his account on behalf of his child for the purpose of FSW?
Thanks
I ma sure she got to it long ago Kaska......question for you.......on the generic application form, after your husbands details....did you then add yours?

I have same question but little differently. I have shared accounts with my dad and mom. Do I need to attach some support affidavit along with CA balance sheet?
No......the funds need to be your or your spouse's. Have you applied yet? If not, let them put the funds in you account and hope it builds some history in time ....for when CIC asks you to supply the bank statement/if they do. in this case your would just get a statement showing the balance in the account only for your initial application.

For student visa it goes PERFECT but I'm not very confident on the FSW visa. They expect you to be established in your country of residence and be able to show enough funds to be able to survive first year in Canada. You are not dependent on your parents any more. I had seen rejections earlier stating something like ...we did not find you established in your own country of resident.... something like this. But I'll call in for votes here.

Oh yes,, how did I forget that. You can show joint accounts with your spouse/dependents with the accompaniment of No objection letter from them. But it shouldn't appears to them as if you did all that at the last moment just to show your level of establishment while you actually weren't up to the mark.
So basically on the Additional Dependents form, I added back the same details I did on the Generic form.

So did they return the whole package you sent them, I mean all your original IELTS and ECA reports, or just a letter that your need to re-submit a form?
