Hi guys,
One of my friends needs some information before applying. He has work experience with 4 companies in the 10 years preceding the date of application. He has 3 reference letters to attach with his application but has failed to get a reference letter from the oldest 4th employer. Will his application be considered "INCOMPLETE"? Or will he simply not receive points for the 4th employer?

No doubt, I am running late for FSW 2013 (NOC 1112 Financial & Investment analyst).
I will set for IELTS exam on 22-June-2013, Will get result after 2 weeks from that date.
I just got sealed & signed envelop from my University, by next 2days will send it to WES for ECA.
Bottom line is, more or less by 1st week of July I will get all required papers (ECA report from WES, IELTS etc.) to apply for FSW 2913.
Now please advice, will it be wise to apply at that time, will it be too late to apply under NOC 1112 Financial & Investment analyst, as 300 cap maximum & CIC not updating the status?

its SAME all over the world, among academic or general IELTS ......there is a difference in the writing and reading part.

Your friend have to get reference letter from 4th Employer before submit to CIC. For your information, for my time, I am MI3 applicant, when I applied first time in Aug 2011, I have all of my reference letter from previous letter but one of my previous company never write my job description in this letter. For this reason, CIC issue one letter to me said that you have insufficient information .so I have to applied 2nd time on Dec 2011.

I have the same case so i can share my opinion with you .
I have worked for 4 companies also in the last 10 years and i couldn't get my first job experience letter, what i think about is that, in worst case scenario, they won't count this experience in your experience points, so if you need these points it will be a big problem. But if you have more than 6 years experience, documented and including the job you are applying for, it won't be a problem.

Last time it took approximately 35 days for the most preferred NOC 1112 to reach abt 307 complete applications....now ECA is into picture so hopefully its gonna take a bit extra time for the slots to fill up....i just nw received update that my application would be reaching CIC on 6th June

I don't think ECA will make it any different, or at least I think ECA will have lesser influence than the fact that there was no applications at all for whole 12 months. But... my application is not even sent yet, so I do hope you're right.

Not necessarily Marta would get the first PER [I wish she gets ]. It can be any one from the first week, or may be first 10 days. Its up to CIC on how they are working, or the specific VO for Specific NOC. Its quiet possible that instead of 2174, 2147, 1112, someone from less popular NOC gets a charge & PER first, since the VO was not pressurized by the burden of hundreds of apps
