My application received date is 3rd July 2014 and PER on 28th Oct for NOC 2171 from NDVO.
Though many who appllied after I did have received MR/PCC, I have not and I am thinking of applying for GCMS.
Could you please met me know if both of you had lived in multiple countries?
If yes, it could be one of the reasons for the delay as online forums suggest that CIC/CSIS send queries to
all those countries and request background clearance a process that can take several months per country.
I lived in 4 countries in the last 5 years for work and studies, and am really anxioous about any poossible further delay
in receiving MR/PCC.
Please let me know if you too lived in multiple countries?
as per i know, they will check ur NOC experience in BCG. later on they will ask for ur PCC last 5 years( including foreign countries).
I lived in UK 4 years.

I need your input here please. I applied as network specialist and my boss gave me reference letter for Network specialist. However, now that my interview in nearing, I took certificate from HR and they gave me Computer Engineer instead of Network Specialist. Can you please help me how will I explain to the visa officer why it is not matching the positions I have in my reference and in my certificate from HR? please help me.

I'm may 9th 2014 noc 2281 applicant. I have a scanerio , got per on aug 2014, second line update "we started processing..."on sept 2014 and I got a call from ndvo on 25th sept asking my current employer address though it was clearly stated on the reference letter head, they asked the same in the email the same day, I replied them. And after a long wait till december , I surprisingly got a physical verfication on dec 16, n they are pretty much satisfied from the verfication from my point of view and till now no any news from NDVO.
My queries are:
Does any one have similar situation that they have waited long even after physical verfication?
Does any body know how much time will vo take to give mr after physical verfication?
Steps after receiving Passport with temporary visa & COPR

I received mine and my families’ Temporary visa and COPR, we are in USA , want to know what are the next steps , do I have to schedule an appointment to get Permanent resident visa in Canada or just crossing the border is good enough.
I did my medical in the same time as urs but they also requested pcc and some documents after that based on the updared form A since age 18 but i didnt hear any thing after that. Did you have any similar experience through the process? ?

i also received medicals RPRF travelling history and other related forms in june...all things were send untill end of june...i asked from bank about encashment of RPRF DD which they confirmed me on 23 august it is encashed....then in september i sent an inquiry about status and they replied that i should wait for 4 months...after exact four months they asked me about last 6 month bank statment which i sent and after 21 days of that i received PPR1...
