By the grace of God, I have received the medical request and request for payment of Right of PR Fee. (A wait more than 1 & 1/2 year)

Kindly update in the forum database.

Does the above mean that the interview step is skipped for my application?

remember - medical is just a third stage and rprf is a process to clear money due from accounting (cic)

both have no co-relation with interview being skipped

I second that, there are applicants on this forum who got the interview after RPRF fee was encashed !!!

There were very few applicants only for these instances.
I agree with you guys that interview call my come till visa stamping steps. However, the probability of such cases are very few......

As per the CIIP official, the SIN card service is available only at Toronto airport, only during normal working hours and days. if you land on a weekend or late night, the service is not available at Toronto airport too. As far as I know, only Toronto airport gives the SIN card facility, Calgary will not have that facality

Can anyone help what is the step wise procedure for WES? One of my friends is stuck. The case details are as follows,

1. MS from U.K
2. BS from Pakistan

For which degree equivalency shall be requested? MS or BS? Which documents need to be sent and what would be the procedure?

Also can someone please specify step wise process for ECA from CES Toronto for BS from Pakistan?

By any chance is this the fall season for the MS admissions for Canada..?

If yes we can be sure that NDVO will prioritize the processing of student visas for some weeks / months until the season is finished.

The FSW applicants mean while may have more waiting times because of this. This is only a guess though.

Actually Chandigarh CHC handles Student visas also, so the load may be shifted to Chandigarh CHC. NDVO is issuing MR for FSW 2014 applicants... so one stays clueless about its operation...

Agree with you. But Chandigarh issues TRV's only to Punjab applicants.
So NDVO is also loaded with student visa season.

Dear FSW 2013 forum Mates

My application processing started at LVO from April 09,2014. After that in May 2014 I received email asking to resubmit one application form and police certificate which I did submit with in 10 days. I was told following then;

"For information: lengthy background checks are now in process for your application. We are unable to advise when they will be completed but they are liable to take quite some yet.

We will contact you again as soon as we are able to. You need take no further action at this time."

Till now nothing heard from them. Any comments how much time they can take or someone experienced some similar situation.
