CIC is authorized with all Bank's Head Offices to get your accounts information. They do not contact your Bank Branch. They directly contacts to Head Office and ask for any kind of your information.

No offenses brother .. thats a wrong information.. the only person who can view ur accounts without permission is the Income Tax Departments.
this is under banking law and RBI guidelines. CIC do check on their own and third party verification on Security and Criminality.

Thank you seniors for your replies.. I think I will have to maintain required amount in bank till it gets processed. ??? Visa office is NDVO. Will NDVO specifically mention to provide 3/6 months statement or just ask to provide updated proof of funds?? I think updated balance certificate would suffice if asked for latter. Has anyone come across this with NDVO?

exactly I don't know whether CIC has authority to check bank accounts or not?

I don't have any supporting stuff for this statement.

But in this matter I can tell you that at least keep the minimum required amount suggested by CIC

even if you show some extra amount, taking extra amount is not harmful

But minimum required amount to be maintained

Mainly they will check (later wards, when ever they requested ) only the minimum required amount

Thanks for your prompt reply. My consultant is saying that you need to pay RPRF, however, no need to go for medicals as CHC will not accept the medical without X-ray.

And X-ray is not recommended in pregnancy. But I don't know weather I need to go for Medical or we both need to go at the same time that is after the Birth of Baby?

Hey go for your medicals. CIC will accept your medical results and you can do xray at the later stage. consultant people's are dumb. you have already got request for medical so why you do not go for it. medical panel dr. mention in the reports that your wife has this much months pregnancy and applicant would like to do x ray after birth of a baby. so CIC will give you time for submission of x ray report only. please go at the earliest for medicals. do not listen to your consultant. if you wont go for medicals your case might be rejected and you will be in trouble once your file will be closed.

Dear you are waiting for your PPT back since last 2 and half months. we are still waiting for our medicals since past 100 days. Do not worry, you will get it back in few weeks. happy waiting.....
