Hi all,

My wife is pregnant and is due to deliver in December. We already received our immigration visa, and plan to land in Canada by August and return back to our home country for the delivery. (Our timeline is to permanently move to Canada by end of 2015).

Could anyone advise what would be the process to add a dependent after we have already completed our landing and returned back to our home country, and how long it is expected to take? Are there any concerns or implications to keep in mind?

Our visa office was Cairo.

I would strongly suggest you to do delivery in Canada so that you do not have to apply for your child. it will take longer to sponsor your child if you do delivery out side of Canada.

If you're applying for PCC and if your present address is same from that in the existing passport then

docs reqd :
Old passport in original with self-attested photocopy of its first two and last two pages including ECR/Non-ECR page and page of observation (if any).
local PSK booking slot page print,
your MR letter which mentions the PCC.
it doesn't matter if you have stayed at different addresses, if you're applying for PCC from your permanent address as per your PP, then it should be fine.
Optional : you can carry National Identity cards and your local bank passbook.

Hi 2013 Seniors & Experts

I have almost everything ready for application- PC, IELTS, ECA report, forms, docs, BC ...i have over 8 years of work exp working in 4 companies, but still struggling to get reference letters with job duties from ex-employers. Current Employer has given the letter without the job duties and salary but mentioned my current address, tenure, designation, and "For VISA purpose" also - Not sure if this is useful to some extent.

My query:

Please advise how the Work Exp points ( without reference letters ) can be judged if I have below experience and with which NOC shoild apply as main NOC?

1) NOC 1114 for Job 1 & 2 = 4 Years 11 Months
2) NOC 1112 for Job 3 = 1 Year 5 Months
3) NOC 0111 or 1212 for Job 4 (Current Job as Asst Manager )- 1 Year 10 M

I do have other other job related documents like - Offer letter, relieving letter, payslips, etc

My points from other section totals to 55 ( 12 for age, 23 for Education & 20 for IELTS)...so i need 12 points at least.

Please advise on my above queries..... Apologies for a lengthy query.... but really confused at this point
