Dear Sir,
There is no harm in declaration that you have official passport.
But for immigration purpose your personal passport required. official or diplomatic passport is not valid. if you apply using official passport than your application will be refused or returned for this reason.

Dear chdblr11,

Even I have done Medicals in Fortis Hospital Bnaglore. I did my medical test on March 29th and I was told that NDVO will receive medical documents on April 4th.

But till today there is no status change about Medicals received.

Unfortunately Fortis Bangalore takes ages to upload the reports. It happened in the similar way for most of us as well. You should see your 3rd line in ECAS very soon .. ATB!

When I visit Canada I just drive on my UK license, which is OK for 3 months I believe, then you must swap it, here is the link you need: http://www.ontario.ca/driving-and-roads/drive-ontario-visitors
Like a UK one, you should be able to swap your US license fine: http://www.ontario.ca/driving-and-roads/exchange-foreign-drivers-licence
