may be they are doing a Back ground check. however, why do we have to worry about that at all. if our documents are genuine and we can explain/stand by every single detail as mentioned in the application, i really have no problems with BGC.

however, BGC happens in rarest of the rare cases... where blatant missing links are evident. relax....

its not like that..not everybody gets background check..
you should put some query to ndvo..as i think after ecas updated the normal time to get MR is within 2 weeks..
m waiting too for MR..process started on 5th feb 2014..dont know when will i get MR mail >:(

Yeah, I guess they are done for a very few applications as BGC would delay the processing times to a large extent if done for many applications.
