my old passport which i have submitted with my application at CIO. old passport will expire next month. i have renewed my passport now. can i submit it now to VO or wait till the VO ask about new passport ?

You can update your new copy via CSE. I think no need to send by mail... that is what I think

Once the medicals are done and the doctor upload the results electronically, how long it takes to update the ECAS system? Is there any specific number of days one has to wait or not defined number of days?

for the sake of your satisfaction , drop CSE to them enquiring about your Medical Results receipt.
They will come back

Hello London guys,

I don't understand what LVO is really doing till date. Are we going to wait forever! It seemed they are just reading through our files daily without the effort to release our MRs and RPRFs for us to make expected progress on these applications. They are much far from the promise the Immigration Minister (KENNY) made in 2012 that applications will be treated in few months.

If they were not ready, they should had transferred our files to CPP-O in months back.

I am really angry!
