I am saying that new restrictions can come into place at anytime or current restrictions can be extended. Nothing may change but there could be an extension if the ban of flights from India and Pakistan, hotel extensions could be extended to 10 or 14 days, there may be a ban on interprovincial travel, etc. You just have to keep watching for the news nd it will depend on how Canada is doing with the 3rd wave of covid and the international covid issues.

Hello guys, I landed at the Toronto airport yesterday with my family ( five of us), and it was really nice to go through the customs, immigration, and all. My spouse was issued Work Permit, kids; their Visitor Records, and I got my Study Permit. The hotel we lodged-in was (still is) very superb. They arranged their shuttle services bus to pick us up with our 'many luggage', and were very professional. Food were brought at the right time, and the food were rich too. Kudos to the hotel management. My kids and spouse really had a great time. Crowne Plaza is the name of the hotel, and I would recommend it to individuals wanting to have a stop over at Toronto. This is a great place for people with family size of mine or even single individuals. I paid about $1450 for the family size of five ( 2 adults, and three kids). We had all three meals a day. Very lovely. Just reporting my experience. Regards

Hello all,

I have a doubt that if my son will be allowed to enter in Canada along with me as I am having student visa and will get my student permit in Canada. I have consulted an expert in India and he has told me that immigration might deport me if I take my son with visitor visa while me having student visa. He told me to apply for dependent visa for my son and then only he can travel with me. He is not even 4 years old if that helps.

Nope. I entered from the USA. I wouldn't know if same applies to dependents of individuals entering from another country.

Of course you can't just book the normal rate, the extra expense is for food, security etc. Canada does not do anything cheap.

You have to book mandatory hotel stay if you won't they may not allow to board the flight. By chance even if you reach canada the border officer will ask you the receipt and as far as i know you have to fill the details of hotel in arrive can so book the three day hotel for your quarantine.
