My friend, he is coming to visit me and my family for about 2 weeks in Canada. He has his passport and all that, He's bringing about 800 dollars, is that enough for customs to let him through? He's staying at my family home so he has no hotel, food expenses.. What other things does he need? I told him he should probably get a medical exam just to be safe, I don't want them to deny him access at the border.. Anything else he should be doing?

Also if he tells customs he's staying 2 weeks but ends up staying longer is that okay? Since the legal time he can spend here is 6 months? Thanks! :D

Depending where he's from, he might need a visa.

Nevermind - I answered my own question about the visa. He doesn't need one. I checked the list.
