I did a soft landing in April 2022, applied for a SIN and a Permanent Resident Card, stayed in Canada for about 7 days, and then left. In November 2022, I moved to Canada with my spouse and a house lease in hand. Now when I am filing return for 2022, there is a question "Did your residency changed in the year" and "Date of entry in Canada" on TurboTax. These questions are a bit confusing me, and which date should I enter for my entry into Canada (April 2022 or November 2022)?

Also, do I actually have to file taxes for 2022?

I dont think turbo tax knows what is soft landing, its confusing, ask a tax consultant lawyer or CRA help line. Please also share here for the benefit of all.
