Need your expert advice in a kind of a strange situation.
I was in Mexico for 8 months (from Nov 2017 till Jun 2018) on a work permit. 2 days before I left Mexico for good, I took the police clearance certificate from the Mexican police department. I went back to my home country (India) for a month and then Travel to Canada directly as a Permanent Resident.
Please note: The Mexican PCC certificate is in the Spanish language.
I will be applying for my Canadian citizenship very soon. so have a couple of clarifications on that.
1. Can I use the PCC I got in Mexico in 2018 for the Canadian citizenship application in 2021 (although I never went back to Mexico after 2018)?
2. Do I need to translate the Mexican PCC to English?
3. If so, from where I would be doing the translation?
4. Do I need my home country (India) PCC for the application?

1- Yes
2- Of course. Or to French
3- Any certified translator. Check IRCC website for instructions
4- No, if you stayed just one time and for one month in the past 5 years
You'll have to provide the following to make any meaningful analysis :
1. First time you entered Canada (and what status did you enter with)
2. Date you received PR
3. Exact dates of all your absences in the past 4 years
4. Date when you plan to file your citizenship application
