We submitted our EOI last August 28, 2016. The latest Draw is today but it is only for Strategic Recruitment Initiative Applicants and Skilled Workers in Manitoba. We belong to Skilled Workers Overseas and there is no draw yet.
For those who would join this topic, I hope we can update each other.

Nagdraw na ulit Dec. 21 walang binigyan na LOA para sa skilled workers Manitoba at yung sa skilled workers overseas strategic recruitment ulit. Kelan kaya cla magreregular draw..

First, I am planning to apply in manitoba's skilled worker overseas. father and mother is 7 years already in Winnipeg. the first thing i know what i must do is take ielts and then what? do i need to prepare na po ang show money?
hi, take the ielts first. at least get an over-all band score of 6 for future employability. then, submit an expression of interest from the MPNP website. online application lang yun for free. over-all assessment lang ng application mo. then wait for the next draw and if your application get picked, submit ka na ng full application. online din.

Hi Familylove. Kamustahin ko lang sana yung application mo. Interested kasi kame ni partner to apply for this. Nung tinignan ko yung website ni Manitoba it felt like they are banking more on a strong connection to Manitoba which we don't actually have. Any input?

hello. we submitted our Expression of Interest last August 2016. hanggang ngayon, wala pa sila regular draws for Skilled Workers Overseas CAtegory...puro applicants lang from Strategic REcruitment, nagkaron kasi sila ng applicant backlog kaya natigil muna regular draws. pero as per notice recently May 15, 2017. ibabalik na daw regular draws and sana makasama na kami sa mapapadalhan ng Letter of Invitation to apply. our sponsor is my husband's first cousin. as of now, ang alam ko mas pabor sila sa mga aplikante na may job offer na sa CAnada..yung galing sa mga agencies, international students at temporary skilled workers na nandun na sa Manitoba.
in your situation, baka may kakilala kayong kaybigan sa canada kasi pwede maging sponsor ang friend aside from relatives. you may also check a local agency dito sa Pinas na nagre-recruit ng mga pinoy for canada, inquire at Mercan in Ortigas. another option is to get a student visa as international students, meron din yata sa Mercan nyan.
