One new line has been added to my ecas status, which says " Medical results have been received "
So should i assume that i have successfully cleared medical exam?

No if you r not from the Visa exempt country then you should get PPR (Here PPR means PP, Updated form and Pictures) first and then Decesion made.

Request for submission of PPT precedes change in status from IP to DM.
Now that,ur ecas has shown " MEDICAL RECPT LINE", it may be safely assumed that MO at VO has assessed the medical reports sent by the DMO WHO had examined u.

U will get PPT submission request from VO,hopefully soon. UR file will then pass through the last stage of processing system , namely travel history nd security check.The moment VO finishes it,ur file WILL get his/her approval WHICH IS FOLLOWED BY ecas turning to DM.

I m new to this forum. I have an enquiry
I have applied in federal skilled in July 2013. I received my file number in octuber.
But still no update. My online status is just showing " We have received your file in july".
whereas one of my frnd appllied in the same category. In his online status they have written two lines.
"we have received your file" AND "we have started processing "
So what does it indicates.
why they are not showing the 2nd line in my case
if you can assist me !!!
