Police Certificate from USA

Hi,

I am an Indian Citizen. I stayed in US for a year in 2009-10. I want to apply for Canadian PR now. While going through the guidelines I found out that I have to obtain a police clearance certificate from all those counteries where I have spent more than 6 months continuously.
Right now I am in India and I want to obtain a police certificate for my stay in US.
I have the following queries if someone can help :

1) Is it possible to obtain a police certificate at this stage now?

2) What is the procedure?

3) Will the US embassy in New Delhi of any help?

My Online Sttaus has changed from in Process 2 Decision made.. what does it mean? is it a psoitive sign while I am waiting for my Medicals?? someone says its good sign someone says it could be either 2 get medical or rejection both all depends what chc requires!!!! someone please tell me

Jiadda cases day vich if decision status comes before medicals taan eh negative he hunda hai, but again depends upon what CHC requires, so wait and watch.

U HAVE GOT DECISION MADE BEFORE MEDICAL ISSUE MEANS CHANCES OF REJECTIONS ARE HIGH GOOD LUCK

but i am surprised we were securing high like 82 points how come there could be a lack of document but rejection i was not expecting......!!! mostly people are saying that a system error is going on a lot so might be possibility and consultant says either cases after decision made they can send u medical and could be rej so until u get the letter from them do not get panic!!

THEY ARE WORKING ON PRE JUNE FASTLY DEPENDS ON JD LETTER AND OTHER DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THAT. POINTS IS NOT AN ISSUE 67 AND 87 BOTH ARE SAME BUT IELTS SCORE MUST ME RESPTIFUL LIKE 10-12 OK. RIGHT NOW U ARE IN INDIA
