Hello Everyone,
Congratulations on reaching this much awaited milestone!, I only have one question though that is "why are you all planning for Edmonton?".. the reason I ask is that I am in Edmonton right now and I see much more life and opportunity in Calgary; that's where all the money is! I am also working out to move there as soon I see some opportunity and change in weather, Calgary is much bigger city with lots of big jobs in Canada; that's where 80% of oil money is sitting.
Wish you all the very best.

yes, same day. i have a connecting flight from calgary to edmonton.
i have booked a hotel room in edmonton for 6 nights.
maybe in this 7 days, i would even consider moving to lethbridge if its cheaper living there.
i want to live in the most affordable place in alberta, and lethbridge is definitely one of them
i personally prefer to live in small isolated towns ( peaceful and beautiful ) rather than big bustling cities. i am NOT a "city" person
1. After getting PR, is it possible to move to Canada after 2 years?
2. If I want to go to Canada permanently after 2 years , how can I get my PR card and what options do you suggest ( For e.g. I go to Canada in the first year for 1-2 weeks and come back ) ?

hi
your forum name is my favorite beer.
yes, you can land in canada after getting your visa, get your PR card and then come back and go again after 2 yrs.
just make sure you have the PR card with you and be in constant touch with the residency obligations prevailing at that time.

Oh! meaning you think so much of where to live, what of where job opportunities abound. The city looks more like it, don't you think? Except you wont mind living far away from workplace.
