hello 'astasi'. Please let me know if you did a Flagpole with the Expired TRV. I too am in the same situation (Expired TRV and valid WP) and want to Flagpole to get my Work Permit. Please let me know if you were able to get your WP at POE?
Hi Astasi and the rest of you guys.
I have some few questions here:
1) when you submitted your application for new WP online, have you resigned from your current work? Or you have to resign once you have a new WP already?
2) or the other scenario, is there a long transition period from the old WP to new WP? I mean while waiting for the new WP, do you stay unemployed? As TFW, we are concerned with our cash flow.
3) once you had the new work permit, are you obliged to change your SIN?
4) how about if to flagpole, what will happen to the old WP.
yeah I called them on phone and they said still working on application received on October 4th. I hope it is processed before end of January, am so tired of waiting.

Depend on your situation, you can still be working if your old WP didn't expire before you applied for a new one, it is called implied status.
@ mrp1986: Have you heard anything about your work permit? They updated the processing time but no changes on the date still working on October 10th. Let me know when you hear anything.
@mrp1986: I hope they process ours soon, I will call the call centre nextweek to find out whatz happening. I will keep in touch and update you.
@mushroomroom: I submitted my application online on the 23rd oct before on the 26th. How come his have been processed already before mine? Or is pgwp processing time different from the closed working permit with same employer?
