I am inland applicant and will receive my CoPR soon. I am from Iran, a country included in Trump's travel ban.
Can I still flag poll in Niagara Falls? I am just worried entering US (basically being rejected there) would become a big deal because of the Trump's policy.
Any similar experience? Any insight/opinion?
2- If that is not an option, how long does it take to get an appointment to land inside Canada?
I'm not from one of the 6 countries, but part of me thinks that since the US will reject your application for entry (and send you back to Canada), you would be fine to do so. The other part doesn't trust that CBP/ICE wouldn't try to detain you and send you to Iran. If I were you, I'm not sure I'd chance it. Bottom line is (and it pains me as a US Citizen to say this), I wouldn't trust any situation involving CBP/ICE right now that may not go in your way.

I have to echo the previous comment, I wouldn't even take the chance. Avoid the potential problem and book an inland appointment. I don't know the timeframe exactly, but from what i've seen in the forums they notify you of your appointment date within 3 weeks of you making the request.

I’m not from any of those countries and I just flagpoled a week ago. Smooth but I was really nervous.
However, it’s been reported in the past that Ottawa has a drop in service every second Tuesday. Might be worth finding out about that. Might be a better option for anyone from the countries on the US travel ban.
