Thanks hitesh. Just confirm my understanding below
1.bank statements are not required in case FD is proof of funds
2. Just the FD receipts and bank letter for the FD stating that it can be liquidated is enough.
3. Is there a bank letter required which states all the relationships including loans, credit card etc also needed?
Hi, I received ITA in April and about to file my PR app.
Around 60% of funds I had in my and my spouse's bank account. Balance I transferred from my company account (my company owes me money and it reflects in company Balance sheet) and opened Fixed Deposits about 15 days ago (through my and my spouse's bank account). Questions:
1.should I be worried that I opened FDs around 15 days ago.
2.i am also planning to enclose 6 months bank statements. Should I explain in LOE that part of money used in opening FDs is the loan amount my company repaid to me.
3.should I also take a certificate my chartered accountant explaining the amount my company transferred.
Can You plz share the name of your bank. I have a FD in HDFC Bank. They only gave a certificate of balance. I do not have any FD Certificate Like the one State Bank of India Issues

I was having FD with Punjab National Bank. I was having physical FD . Also had bank letter for FD stating name of FD holder, FD account number, date of opening of FD, opening amount of FD and maturity amount with maturity date.
I have an FD which is more than 6 months old. I will be punching that along with other POF.
My question is, will the FD receipt singularly be sufficient ?
or any additional
documents are needed?
I have shown all the funds in the form of FD's. Now most of those FD's got matured and now I have again put that amount (amount got on maturing) in new FD's for another few months. Do I need to share the new FD details with them again?

I recently got an invite to apply for PR under FSWP. I am planning to show a FD as POF. I am taking the money from my father and hence I will add a signed self-declaration from him or a gift deed. Will a FD from Shamrao Vithal Cooperative Bank be acceptable or should it be from ICICI / HDFC. Shamrao Vithal does have forex services.
Please advise. Any other comments are welcomed too!
