First-time Landing - Proof of Funds

Hi All,

I am planning to do my first landing as a Permanent Resident later this month and had a few doubts regarding the proof of funds that we need to show at the airport.

Do I need to get a new letter from the bank (similar to the one used during application submission) showing my account details and current balance, or would the latest 6-month bank statement along with the previous bank letter suffice? I am asking this because I am currently not in my home country, and so getting a letter from the bank would be a bit challenging.

Is the past 6 months balance required when landing or do they ask how much you have currently with you or in your bank account?
