Compared to US I find Canada is few steps behind in term of outsourcing. There is still manufacturing here, you will still find many companies with entire in house IT and Accounting services, most of Canadian bank call centers are in Canada.
Canada has still not experienced mass layoffs and loss of jobs because of outsourcing yet, not sure if its by design or choice. In Alberta like in our company with bad economy I see a trend growing with companies getting their feet wet with outsourcing.
A company offered me a good payment to receive money from the customers and transfering to the company, which I would receive 5% of each transaction and a good salary.
They asked me to use my personal account on the first 15 days and after they will open a business account for me.
Is it safe? Is it "money laundering"?
Can you please help me?
Thank you!

Sounds to good to be true...if i were you, i'd run away. If you are unclear on what the company's business is, and what your job description is, and why they choose you (i.e. what specific skills you have that made them hire you)... then its probably a scam/fraud scheme.
If they are laundering money and you became involved in the chain that means serious trouble for you.
But I have a question. When we apply through these websites how would they come to know about the EOI number.... As in looking at my profile only they will sideline it. Because of we say mentioning everything on cover letter, not necessary that everybody is going to read it.

Guys, quick question:
My wife was called for a new job, a great one and she was succesful on the interview, which is great.
Altought, her pr card is expired and they are asking for a document wich can prove that she can work.
She is PR in Canada.
Do you have any idea on any other documents she can present to the company?
Thanks in advance.

People say generally the SIN number should suffice, but employers usually prefer to see the pr card too. Is your wife in canada? If her pr card in the process of being renewed she can tell them that - in case they insisted to see it.
