Hello everyone, I have some slight confusions surrounding section e) on the checklist for spousal sponsorship.
I am unclear about the financial support / shared expenses and how to handle it. Since we are not living together and currently reside with our parents most essentials are currently covered. (I do have proof of work and income to support my wife once she lands in Canada as well as a clear explanation of how we'll move out together.) But for now what other things can be included here? Should I send her money from Canada to Lebanon?
Because a minimum of TWO are required I would love to know what I can do to provide proof of financial support since Lebanon doesn't provide marriage benefits.
I am confused about this too. even though me and my husband live together. we handle our finances separately. our gas water bills are paid in cash each month. excepts gifts purchase history for each other. how are we suppose to prove this?
Me and my husband reside in different countries too. We ended up opening a joint checking account at the bank, and showing them credit card statements from our vacations together / our visits to each other showing him paying for our nights out etc.
I also asked my HR at work for a letter saying that he is my primary beneficiary on my health and life insurance.
If at any point of time either of you bought airline ticker for another, that can be considered support as well. Theater tickets / concert tickets / flower deliveries - anything counts

Oh okay so I can even print reciepts of paying for the rings and engagment/wedding stuff as well. I'll try and dig up recipets, unfortunately I haven't really been collecting those things. You think sending some money for her to treat herself through western unions a good idea?

I've seen people do that on the forum but we didn't do that. Instead, we just submitted a cover letter with our application stating that both of us are fully independent with our own incomes from full-time jobs, and we don’t need any extensive financial support from each other. And then we showed a few gifts receipts, credit card statements from visits, ticket and etc.
