Financial Support from a research center

Dear friends,

I have got an acceptance from a university in Quebec area and got the CAQ. Now I am going to apply for the study permit.

I will pay ~3 K CAD for one year to the school and get financial support from a research center in university. My advisor sent me a financial support document which says:;


xxx have been accepted as a PhD student in xxx department and the student will be granted financial support amounting to xxx $ ......

Is this way is a good way to show financial support or should I request another detailed document from research center ?
