I am a PhD student living in Turkey and I recently received an acceptance letter from a university for my dissertation research project as a visiting research scholar. The position has no financial support attached, I will self fund our 1 year stay in Canada. I am confused on what kind of visa do I have to apply? I want to bring my wife and our 1 year old baby with us. I am also confused on what kind of visa should they need. Any help would be appreciated.
