Hello Everyone,
We finally got good news that our passports arrived with the visas. I am just posting this to keep hopes alive and never give up. The journey wasn't a very pleasant one nor do I know what is in store, but I did learn one thing...just to be patient...trust in god with all your heart...not lean on to your own understanding....and he will guide you in the right path. Believe and everything will be possible.
NOC..............: 0213
Visa Office.....: New Delhi
App. Filed.......: 10-Mar-2010
Doc's Request.: 3-May-2010
AOR Received.: 31-Aug-2010
Rejection Letter: 7-Mar-2013 (Got a rejection letter stating that I did not comply with the medical request. The letter stated the medicals was sent on 9-Nov-12, however I never received one. I faxed a letter stating this, sent a hard copy mail, sent case specific query stating the same. ND visa office responded after 45 days with a fresh medical request)
Case re-opened and Med's Request Issued: 9-May-2013
Medicals completed: 15-Jun-2013
Passports sent: 10-Dec-2013 (As we moved to the US in June 2013 and couldn't submit passports)
Visa stamped: 22-Jan-2014 (passports arrived only last week)
The case status still shows "In Process" as always. "Medicals received" line was never added in my case. Our address never changed even after multiple requests. So, just don't take the eCas too seriously as work does happen in the background...and the status may not really reflect it
I really thank all the support I received from this forum and sincerely wish all who are waiting for the visa should get it. Hoping to land in May and move permanently a year from then.
Warm regards
Simpson
