Finally got my visa today. It took me 5 months post medicals to get the visa. It took 5 months for Background checks.
Thanks to each and everyone who help me in the forum. And for people waiting for their visa, I would say keep patience thats your best bet. Though it might seem that your case has gone for a spin, visa office is working on your case.
Okay now on how do I feel? Honestly relived that finally my case has come to some conclusion luckily with visa. Though I was sure there was notting wrong with my case but the delay got me thinking.
All the best to everyone. Hope your dreams come true.
CONGRATS!!! Best Wishes for a great future in Canada.
Just one thing... did u visit many countries or had u lived in many places? trying to see if there is a correlation b/w delay and good number of pp pages stamped....

Cprak0, coming to your question. I have stayed in Canada (1 single address for 8 months) and USA ( 2 addresses, total duration 3 yrs) Visited Dubai for 5 days as tourist. Had USA work visa from 2 other companies but never had any visit on those visas.
Buddy congrats, really happy that u have made it. I know the phase was tough but eventually u made it. I told u "May" is ur month. All the very best in life.

I think if for SG it has taken 5 months for background checks. Assuming the same i hope i should expect somewhere in july or august!
Its simply because of FTH in canada .I have been there for more than 2 years in single address!
Everyday morning the first thing i do is open my laptop and check the status. I am loosing interest on my job and can not continue with concentration!
