u attaching original marksheets and degree cert etc? have they asked for them in original? cause u wont get originals back.....also u need a photocopy of passport and not notarized photocopy....they give u that passport photocopy back...if ur in india....
Don't forget the photos. And you shouldn't give the original certificates of degree/10th/12th/IELTS, only notarized copies are enough! And from 16-20 if they aren't considerably large amounts avoid submitting them.
i am taking originals with me, just in case if they demand to see.
yes i am in india.
how strong is my case? do you have any doubt?

Each and everything must be in photocopy (no notarization) except your PP. You will get back originals right at the VFS counter.
They din't even ask about my originals, but we should definitely carry them, just in case!
Did you pay the fees/took a GIC/ or have a loan?
i got my offer letter just few days back, i have mailed for GIC but no reply back yet. no loan.
havent paid fee yet because the university student account wont be started before registration and for registration i need to be there before 1 dec. so i cant pay fee before registration.
Hmmm ... that's not good! Explain about the situation in your covering letter and show proof that you have more then enough money to cover the fees/expenses. If your course is a two year program, try to show funds for both the years.
they have not asked for additional documents. Additional documents are burden on them. They have clearly mentioned that we need documents that are in check list. You don't need to submit ITR etc when you are applying in university category for 1st time. these all are needed when you apply into general category.
@astonmarin: But brother, he doesn't have GIC/Fees receipt/loan. If he doesn't add the additional doc's, it'll be very hard for the VO to believe that the applicant can support himself during the course or atleast pay the fees.
I would say safest thing would be to apply for the next intake, with all the required things. Even the 30th nov deadline is over, so its not gonna be easy for you to get your visa.
@Rohit53
i cant apply for next intake, because the opportunity given to me by research supervisor is for limited period and that is why it is crucial for me to get study visa as soon as possible.
Then you should take the risk and apply for visa.
