I sent an general enquiry to visa office in aug-11 and got standard reply , but today my status has changed to in process with details same as rbvo. Is it a positive sign , is my file moving forward
Please comment.

Hello Paramjit,

Now that ur e-status is changed to "IN PROCESS",fresh BFD must have been marked for further action by VO as complated by him/her.
Perhaps CAIPS REPORT ,if ordered by u,may reveal the exact position.But then,there are many applicants whose e-status were reportedly changed to "in process",yet there is no discenible improvement,as such as far NEW DELLHI VO is concerned.

Well friend,we have to wait for many more months before light of the day emerges,provided some kind of miracle happens.We can only wish and pray.

same thing happened to me, after sending general inquiry, my ecas changed to in process, now ecase changed 22weeks ago..nothing news...its a lolly pop...

Address disappeared in e-cas today...

Today my status changed to IN PROCESS however with RBVO details. The address has disappeared as well. I understand this does not mean much, atleast I am happy that someone has opened or looked at the file after more than a year. ;D

It happened to me a few months before. (That time there was a enquiry letter from me to VO which made it happen)

Hopefully some good news ahead for us this time. (This time no initiative from my side, and believe something good is happening)

Today, many pre-june applicant's are seeing change in their status and address disappearance. My status turned to In Process (Inside details are still RBVO) and address disappeared.

Does this mean that all of us will be hearing something by the end of 2011? If so, then its happy time for all of us after a wait of more than a year.

My status had changed to In-Process around 2 months ago and address disappeared. Around 1 month ago, the address came back, and today I checked, it is gone again ...R they playing games to keep us occupied frutilessly?

However, the inside details are the same as in RBVO stage, so really don't know what's going on. :
