File Xfer to ND CHC for April\May\June 2010

I too noticed this yesterday while updating the list. However if you look at the Jan/Feb/Mar file transfer thread, there are a considerable number of people on 0213 who got their visa and a couple of people on In Process and RBVO status. There are 0213 guys who have received medical requests in Feb. Probably it is just a question of time. I believe if our case is strong (with atleast 10+ years of experience in IT) we still would stand a good chance. This category is also one which is intensely scrutinized, hence probably the delay. I think we just should be hopeful.

I Hope so too....with 18 years in the IT industry of which 9+ in the US... :'( :-\ --> case of mixed feelings...

I am asking this because I am worried about my daughter's further schooling. I have to pay her school fees for Next Year by Mid May, otherwise her name will be struck off.

What should I do, if I don't get medical till that time?

WELL U CAN HOPE SO. BUT AGAIN THIS IS CHC ND WE ARE DEALING WITH. CAN'T BE SURE. I WILL BE RELIEVED ONLY WHEN I SEE THE ACTUAL VISA IN MY HANDS, AND BEFORE THAT IT IS ALL AN ILLUSION AND A FANTASY DREAM WORLD THAT WE ARE ALL LIVING IN.

Mehul, if you get your medicals and visa thereof, are you planning to take your family immediately? If you have seen the stories on this forum, I think it is better for you to go first, settle down and then take your family. Of course this is my opinion.

Schooling for kids is not a big deal outside India. They can be very well accomodated. I have experienced this for my daughter in the US, and I believe it would be similar in Canada as well. You cannot plan on uncertainty and mess up your daughter's education (as it is a rat race in India for education). So have a cut off time in mind. If the medical request does not come by then, pay the fees and proceed with it. There might be small losses, but might be worth it end of the day than getting worried or putting a pressure on yourself!

hello friends
post june 2010 applicants are getting medicals and PPR really really soon. their's could be actually called FAST TRACK PROCESS in the true sense. some of them have actually started house hunting in TORONTO. lucky people
while we pre-june applicants are seeing some progress, but the speed is dead slow. i wonder what's in store for us in the coming weeks.

atleast 15 post june 26 applicant from new delhi visa office has got medical/ppr request, they applied to CIO, Sydney, Canada between 5 august to 23 september 2010. what a tragedy for us pre june applicants.
