When was your friend's medical done? Has your friend paid RPRF already?
Is he/she in NYVO, because the process of issuing PPR is slowed down only in NYVO?
Seatle and LA are still issuing PPRs...

hi everybody... i got PPR yesterday july 25, 2012 from new york visa office... i can't believe that it's so quick.. they received my medical on july 10, 2012.... my ecas status says medical results received on july 25, 2012...now fingers crossed... and all the very best to every one...

The ECAS says my medical results have been received. (July 27, 2012)
My medical was done on June 28.
According to your timeline, I should get PPR today... but, not yet.

Did they send you the PPR by email or letter mail ?
