File is Waiting for Officer's final decision

Hi All,

My spouse did remedical and it was passed on March 11, 2019. I was told by my MP 2 days later that all requirements have been met and that the file is waiting for officer's final decision. Does anyone know how long it takes? Our visa office is London.

Remember that spousal applications take about a year to process, for 80% of normal, complete applications.

Are you a citizen or a PR? Makes a big difference since you spent 4 months in your home country after submitting sponsorship.

I am a citizen and returned to Canada after I got married which was 2 weeks later.
