Seems ircc edmonton is the slowest office.
Someone else in this form get passed around 6-7 months in Etobicoke office.
Mine also marked as 9 months.

Hi Guys,

Did anyone get response from IRCC after the file was transferred and who has submitted application in July Aug 2019 . I am in same situation as well.

Mine is closed (employer specific) work permit extension.

Filed on Aug 5th 2019
Called IRCC in 1st week of december as it exceeded normal processing time and the agent mentioned the file was transferred to local office in Etobicoke.

Anyone knows how long it takes for Local office to process it. It appears that they haven't looked in my application yet. I have ordered GCMS notes and waiting for it right now.

I m also same frame but mine is Edmonton

Hey guys
My wife applied for her study permit extension and I applied for my spouse dependent open work permit extension with her on July 30, 2019. They said it’s transferred to Edmonton office in November 2019. It’s almost gonna be one year and still no response from. My wife has finished her studies too. Now should she apply for work permit or wait for her SP extension to come back? What bout me should I apply with her or what?
Damn I know how stressing it can be. Anybody in the same boat ?
